GEORGETOWN, Texas – The Southwestern Pirates hosted their final home game of the inaugural season on Sunday, falling 20-4 to Western New England.

Jordan Little, assisted by Schmitt, made it back-to-back goals for the Pirates and cut WNE's lead to seven, 9-2. Western New England was able to pull even further ahead, however, and led 15-4 at halftime.

The Golden Bears controlled the rest of the game as Southwestern was held scoreless in the second half while WNE scored five more to arrive at the 20-4 final.

The Pirates committed just seven more turnovers (27-20) but won just three of the 26 draw controls on the day while losing the shot count 32-5. WNE also won the ground ball battle 36-19 and converted on all five clears and five of six free position shots.
