This year, the Southwestern University Pirates shined on the court or field of play and in the classroom, taking home seven of the 19 inaugural Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Elite 19 awards, the most of any school in conference.
The SCAC Elite 19 is awarded to the student-athlete who has at least a cumulative 3.25 GPA, at least 60 credit hours and earns All-SCAC honors for that particular season. A student-athlete will be honored annually from each of the league's 19 conference-sponsored sports and will be recognized at the site at that year's conference championship event.
