2003 [Freshman Year]
Spangle appeared in just 25 games during her first year at SU, accumulating 47 kills and a .236 hitting percentage. Her 1.88 kills per game average was the fifth-best on the team. She also recorded 41 digs and had 10 total blocks on the year.

High School
Spangle was a first team All-State performer during her senior season. In addition to that honor, she was named the Most Valuable Player for her district as well as Galveston County, was a first team All-District and second team All-Greater Houston selection. Spangle also received first team Academic All-State honors.
