Pirates Still Swimming Strong At Championships

Rockwall, Texas – The Southwestern University Women's swimming team was back at it for the 2nd day of the SCAC Championships, and didn't miss a beat as they came out strong. Emily Haskell placed 1st and set a school record with her outstanding performance in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:08.18.

 Melissa Nelson placed 3rd with a season best time of 4:47.98 in the 400 Individual Medley. Sarah McCausland also came in with a personal best time in the 400 Individual Medley 4:57.37 an placing 7th

Blythe Nava and Sarah Alpini both posted personal best times in the 100 Butterfly with times of 1:01.93 and 1:03.72 respectively.
