Pirates Lose To A Tough UT-Permian Basin Team

Odessa, Texas – The Southwestern Women's Swimming Team lost to a very tough UT- Permian Basin team. The Pirates fought hard and it showed as Emily Haskell placed first in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:11.46.

The 200 Medley Relay team made up of Emmy Gradisar, Blythe Nava, Emily Haskell, and Sarah Alpini finished second with a time of 1.58.90. Melissa Nelson also did well coming in second place in the 500 Freestyle with a time of 5:43.18 which is a season best time for this event.
 
Sarah Alpini again showed off her skills as she placed second in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 59.03

The Pirates look to get back on track November 16th 2012 at the Southwest Shootout in Southlake Texas.
