JONES AND WALLACE NAMED TO SCAC ALL-SPORTSMANSHIP TEAM
SUWANEE, Ga. – The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) today announced its second annual Men’s and Women’s Golf All-Sportsmanship teams. Ten men’s golf and ten women’s golf student-athletes were selected to the 2010 squads including Southwestern's Ricky Jones and Cody Wallace.

HOWEY IN THE HILLS, Fla. - Kristen Davenport needed just one swing of the club on the par three eighth hole as she sank a hole-in-one from 135 yards out. She led the way for Southwestern shooting a spectacular three-over-par and helping SU move up three spots to sixth place.

HOWEY IN THE HILLS, Fla. - The National Golf Coaches Association announced their national and regional post season awards at their annual banquet at the NCAA Championships on Wednesday night and the Southwestern Women's Golf team brought home five awards on the evening.

WOMEN'S GOLF REBOUNDS IN DAY TWO, TIED FOR NINTH AFTER SECOND ROUND
HOWEY IN THE HILLS, Fla. - Southwestern University's women's golf team posted the sixth best team round on day two at the NCAA Championships to jump six places into a tie for ninth place with 620 strokes, 106 over par. Methodist remains in first place at 66 over par, but has had their lead cut to one stroke.

AFTER DAY ONE PIRATES SIT IN 15TH PLACE AT NCAA TOURNAMENT
HOWEY IN THE HILLS, Fla. - With one round in the books at the NCAA Championships the Southwestern women's golf team is in 15th place out of 20 teams and are just six strokes away from the top 10. Defending champion Methodist holds a commanding lead over the rest of the field at +25 over par, 14 strokes ahead of second place.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The NCAA Division III Women's Golf Committee announced 20 teams and six individuals that will participate in the 2010 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships and Southwestern University earned their fourth consecutive trip to the Championships.

STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. - The Pirate women's golf team sits in second place overall after the opening round of the SCAC Championships and are just two strokes off of the lead. SU shot a combined 343 while leader Centre shot an opening round 341. All Pirates finished in the top 20 after the first round.

SPRING BRANCH, Texas – The Southwestern University women’s golf team seems to have figured out the secret to success once again as they captured first place at the Alamo City Classic by a dominating 22 strokes. Senior Kristen Davenport and first-year Kelsey Coburn captured first and second place, respectively, and all Pirates finished in the top 20.

RICHARDSON, Texas - The Pirate women's golf team returned to their winning ways on Tuesday, dominating the final round at the UTD Lady Comet Invitational. Southwestern won by 14 strokes and every golfer finished in the top 15.
