PIRATES CATAPULT TO THIRD AFTER SECOND ROUND

After the second round of action at the NCAA Championships in Port St. Lucie, Florida, the Pirates have jumped up to third place and are just fourteen strokes off the lead held by Methodist.

Marisa Mauldin was on fire in the second day shooting an even par 72 to move into fourth place overall. Kristen Davenport continued her consistent play with an 81 and moved into a four way tie for ninth place. Emily Bartholet fell to a tie for 20th place with an 82 while Cody Wallace made a huge improvement on day two with an 83 to move into a tie for 80th place. Victoria Dominguez rounded out the Pirate action with a 92 and is tied for 98th.

Southwestern will tee off in round three beginning at 12:50 tomorrow.
