GEORGETOWN, Texas - Katelyn Bartell got a big win in her final home game as a Pirate as Southwestern defeated Colorado College 77-54 on Sunday afternoon.

The remainder of the half Southwestern fended off runs by the Tigers and never lost the lead, taking a nine point lead into halftime, 38-29.

The Pirates got six points off fast breaks and 13 off turnovers in the half, accounting for a large chunk of their offense.

After a sluggish start to the half the Pirates turned up the heat and increased their lead to 14, 52-38, by the 15 minute mark.

SU continued to press on and watched their lead steadily grow to over 20 points until arriving at the 77-54 final.
