The 2009 class of the Chi Alpha Sigma National Athletic Honor Society was inducted in April and 24 Pirate athletes from 12 sports earned the honor.

SCAC ANNOUNCES INAUGURAL BASKETBALL ALL-SPORTSMANSHIP TEAMS
The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) today announced its inaugural Men's and Women's Basketball All-Sportsmanship teams. Twelve men's basketball and twelve women's basketball student-athletes were selected to the 2008-2009 squads.

Senior forward Natasha Azizi was recognized by the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference and was named to the 2008-2009 All-SCAC Second Team at the conference tournament in Conway, AR over the weekend.
