Pirates Have Best SCAC Championships In History
Rockwall, Texas – The Southwestern University Men's swimming team ended the SCAC Championships with a very successful campaign. The team finished in 4th place with 626 points almost triple that of last years total, 17 school records broken, 2 NCAA "B" Cuts , and the Southwestern University Men's coaching staff won Coaching Staff of The Year.

The Pirates kept on improving and kept on setting school records. Tommy Frashier placed 2nd in the 1650 Freestyle and broke a school record in the process. He also broke his own 1000 Freestyle record with a time of 9:46.50.
The relay teams have been strong all year and set a school record while placing 4th in the 400 Relay Medley.
