Perkins Earns SCAC Offensive Player-of-the-Week Honors

SUWANEE, Ga. - Senior Evan Perkins, a senior forward fromKeller, Texas, has been selected as the SCAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player-ofthe-Week for matches played from Monday, August 27 through Sunday,September 2.

Perkins posted four goals against Texas Lutheran University, with three goals coming within three minutes of each other, to launch the Pirates to a season opening victory. He added in an assist on Monday afternoon to lead the Pirates in points this week with nine.

Southwestern has opened the season against tough opponents and have showed signs of greatness to come this season. They sit at 1-1-1 on the year and head to San Antonio this week to face Hardin-Simmons on Friday night and UT Dallas on Saturday.
