2011 (First-year)

Downing split faceoff duty in his first season with the Pirates and was a strong offensive presence on the field. He was fourth on the team in goals (18) and points (24) and won 69-166 faceoffs this season.

High School

Tyler, a 2010 graduate of McNiel High School, was named to both the All State and All District teams as a midfielder for the Mavericks. 

Personal

Tyler is the son of Patrick and Sharon and has one sister, Sarah.  Tyler is psychology at SU.
