2008-2009 (Junior)
Had a solid junior year placing in the top 25 in five tournaments...top finish of the season was at the Alamo City Classic where he shot 5 over par (73-76) for a tie for 14th place...finished 16 over par (76-79-74) at the John Bohmann Memorial Invitational in a tie for 23rd...was the second highest finisher for the Pirates at the 2009 SCAC Conference Championship finishing at 22 over par and tied for 16th place.

2006-2007 (First Year)
Jones had a great rookie campaign as he was the top Pirate finisher in two tournaments on the year...at the West Regional Invitational Jones finished in 10th place shooting a 229 (77-77-75)...finished in 6th place at the McMurry Classic with a 155 (78-77)...had another 6th place finish at the Denison Fall Classic with rounds of 75 and 76 for a 151...tied for 21st at the SCAC Championships shooting 14 over par for the tournament (80-78=158).

High School
Jones was a four year lettermen in golf, was the conference champion in 2005, as well as finished in 9th place in the State Tournament in 2005...also wrestled for the Wildcats at Eureka HS in St. Louis, Missouri.

Rick is the son of Rick and Linda Jones...has one sister- Nicole and one brother - Teddy...is an Economics major with a minor in Music and Chinese at SU.
