Coach Cook joined Southwestern in the fall of 2007 where he serves as assistant coach for the men's basketball and men's and women's golf teams.  Prior to coming to SU, Coach Cook was the Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at the University of Texas at Dallas for five seasons. He also volunteered at SU during the 1999-2001 seasons.  Coach Cook spent 29 years teaching and coaching in Texas public schools. He has a Master's Degree from Prairie View A&M University and a Bachelor's Degree from Southwest Texas State University. Cook and his wife Jean reside in Round Rock.
