Three Pirates Garner All-SCAC Honors
Cantu earned a Second Team All-SCAC spot by directing the show on the court for the Pirates. He started all 27 contests this season for Southwestern, averaging 27.7 minutes per game. Cantu was 10th in the SCAC in points with 255 and 11th in points per game, averaging 9.4 per contest. Cantu was also seventh in the conference in assists and turnovers and 10th in steals.
Kocher came on strong as the season wound to a close and became a go-to scorer for the Pirates and earned a Third Team All-SCAC spot. In 23.7 minutes per game he averaged 7.3 points. He was fourth in the conference in turnovers with 68 on the year and third in steals with 39.
Myers became a force both offensively and defensively by the end of the season to be named an Honorable Mention All-SCAC pick. He was 13th in the conference in rebounds per game, pulling down 4.2 per contest in the post, and was fourth in blocks with 17 on the season. Myers shot 50% from the floor and averaged 8.2 points per game, 17th in the SCAC.
The Pirates ended the season with an 11-16 overall record, 6-9 in the SCAC, after falling to Trinity in the semifinals of the SCAC conference tournament. They lose just two seniors, Kocher and Nick Atiee.
