Raleigh Earns 200th Career Win over Howard Payne

GEORGETOWN, Texas - With a 68-61 victory over Howard Payne University over the break, Southwestern men's basketball head coach Bill Raleigh earned his 200th career win. 

Raleigh is in his 14th season at Southwestern University and currently posts a 201-223 career record. After three seasons at the University of Dallas, Coach Raleigh was named as head coach for the 1999-2000 season. He was named as the SCAC Coach-of-the-Year in 2002-03 and 2004-05. 

The Pirates had their best season in 2004-05 as Coach Raleigh guided SU to a 20-7 overall record, 11-3 in the SCAC. 

This season Southwestern sits at 5-7 overall and 1-1 in conference play. They return to the floor on Friday, January 4th to face Colorado College at 8 p.m.
