Played in seven games in his first season with the Pirates...averaged 2.9 minutes per game and 1.4 points per game...went 5-6 from the field (83.3%)...pulled down five rebounds and had one block on the year.

Davenport was a First Team All-State selection in basketball, a First Team All-District football player, a track Regional qualifier and a Second Team All-District pick for the Brahmas at Hallettsville HS.
