2011 (First-year)

Fleischman made two appearances on the mound in his first season as a Pirate, allowing eight runs, all earned, on four hits while walking six and striking out none.

High School

Derek, a 2010 graduate of Georgetown High School, earned the Fightin' Eagle Award his senior year. 

Personal

Derek is the son of Ed and Julie and has four siblings, Darryn, Drew, Alyssa and Jen.  Derek is a business major with a minor in kinesiology at SU.
