25 PIRATES INDUCTED INTO NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY

GEORGETOWN, Texas - 25 Pirate athletes were inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society for the 2009-2010 school year. Pirate athletes from 14 sports earned the honor.  The Chi Alpha Sigma honor society is devoted to recognizing student-athletes nationally who have excelled in the classroom as well as their sport.  In order to be a member of this prestigious group you must be a junior or senior, must have earned a varsity letter, and have a GPA of 3.4 or better.
